Welcome to the latest episode of the Pure Nintendo Podcast! We’re ready for another year of fun and games as we navigate 2023! Trev from the Pure Nintendo team joins Jemma this week in Roger’s abesence, kicking things off with our usual amiibo update. There are many amiibo coming out this month; will Jemma be able to acquire them all?

We discuss the year ahead and which games we’re looking forward to playing. Fire Emblem will be upon us soon, with the latest in the Zelda series coming this May. We also look at other interesting titles ready to hit the Switch in 2023.

Trev and Jemma discuss some recent Nintendo news, from Pokémon GO events – are we still playing this? – to the upcoming Mario Kart tournament happening in Australia and New Zealand. Tune in to a future episode to see how Jemma performed!

We also talk about the long list of games we’re playing at the moment, from Sail Forth to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The latest wave of Mario Kart tracks impressed us immensely, and we chat about our favorite tracks.

There’s a lot to look forward to in 2023. We hope you’ll join us each week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast as we discover another year of fun. Until then, game on!
